Salon is just not a good. Stylist not showing up is a direct reflection of the type of business you are running, especially of it is consistent and customers are waiting in YOUR salon. This is just a shady operation period.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE..Went in and showed a picture of the style I wanted and was quoted a reasonable price, booked an appointment for the next day. Called 45 minutes before my appointment knowing that most shops run behind and confirmed if she was still braiding a previous client or would she be ready for me on time. Confirmed she was running on time only to get to the place and she is still with another client whose head was only 1/4th done. To make matters worse it is a screaming child who doesn't want her hair braided. I am annoyed but reasonable so I just sat down. Waited for an hour and 15 mins before they started washing my hair, after my hair is washed, I was told the stylist was tired and needed to eat (I am annoyed but what can you do). So seating down, hair wet and the stylist comes over and ask to see the picture of what I wanted again and she changes the price on me. I remind her of what I was quoted just the day before, the return response is if you want it you need to pay the new price. Her attitude makes me decide no matter the cost I don't want her to touch my hair. I have waited patiently, had my hair wash and is now soaking wet and you think I have no options. So I have them dry my have (charged $25) and leave to call the owner. The owner can careless, the people who work at the shop are contractors and not her problem but after much discussion and probably to get me off the phone she agrees to do my hair. So I send her a picture of what I want to ensure she can do it (cornrows that is all cornrows) and she changes the price again so it would be over 100 more than what I was originally quoted. I will never go back and recommend that no one goes to this business if you have respect for yourself and know how you should be treated.

I've been going to this salon for around two years, but my most recent appointment will be my last. The stylist are almost always over booked every time I'm there. The owner is the one who usually works on my hair and she is very talented at styling but she tries to do too many people at one time. I got fed up with her trying to alter my requested style because she did not have time to do what I asked for.

Never disappointed! I'm a natural hair woman and typically only see a stylist twice a year for a straighten and trim; Way-Z is my go to... She also pulls me back from the ledge when I'm having bad hair days and just want to cut all my hair off. I recently had that feeling and Way-Z calmed my nerves and gave me a sew-in that looks exactly like my real hair! My hair is protected underneath and I don't have to sacrifice my look. I haven't been to many stylists in my life, but Way-Z has proven to be my G.O.A.T (greatest of all time). Thanks Love

I scheduled an appointment for 9:30 am at 9:15 am, I get a call from the salon asking if I can move the appointment to 10:30 am, mind you I am already waiting in the parking lot. Even though I was inconvenienced I agreed to the new time. I came back at the new time and the braider still was not there. She finally comes in looking a hot mess like she was planning on doing her hair once she got to work. As I am waiting there, she takes another client before me. I can't believe this. She tells me it is only going to take an hour in a half to finish the women's hair. Then suggests that I get two French braids since they are quick to do. As I read through these reviews, I can assure you that they are not fake as everyone is experiencing the same problems at this salon. Your braiding staff is going to be the downfall of your business.
